Mandy was add icted to comic books since her childhood, because of this, she has decided to pursue an art-related career at a really young age. And now she is studying in OCAD University as an illustration student. Mandy not only learned about art and design in school, but also had practiced on communication and observation skills. These provided a solid foundation for her tattoo career.
“Figuring out what I wanted to do with tattoos, which is what style I wanted to do, was the hardest part.” Mandy often uses highly saturated color contrasts to provide impactful effects for her tattoo work, while intricate details remain in the design as the guest look the piece closely. The same is true of her paintings, even if they are not related to the work created for the tattoo.
“I was attracted by tattoos when I saw someone with a really nice looking one for the first time,” Mandy says, “but I never really cared about it until the day I got my first tattoo, and immediately I realized it is something I want to try. “
Mandy is always willing to try new arts and techniques to serve as her inspiration, constantly striving for personal growth. “Each unique collaboration with client makes me appreciate all the efforts I make even more.”
